• 15:29 Recieved voicemail just now. my aunt C died this morning. It was a minor surgery. She was supposed to get better. They said she'd be ok. #

So, my aunt C was fighting cervical cancer. She'd had surgery, and then a sequence of chemotherapy and was doing really well. The cancer indicators were dropping well, and once the last round of chemo was done, she was getting her energy back. All the signs were as good as they could be.

C went in for a small followup surgery on Monday. The surgery went well and she was fine. Then on Tuesday, her blood pressure dropped suddenly and they took her back to the hospital. It seems that she had a blood infection. By Tuesday night she was sedated with a feeding tube. She died Wednesday morning at 8:30 am.

I don't know much of the detail, as much of this came to me secondhand. I'll see whether I'll be flying out to Seattle when I know more.
